Dr. Nazar Khan is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Computing and Information Technology (formerly PUCIT). He obtained a Ph.D in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida (UCF) under Marshall Tappen. Before UCF, he was a research associate at the Computer Vision Lab at LUMS. He completed his Masters degree in Computer Science from Universitaet des Saarlandes in Saarbruecken, Germany under Bodo Rosenhahn and Joachim Weickert, and his Bachelors in Computer Science from LUMS. His areas of research interest are Deep Learning and Computer Vision.
